First lead from "Dan the photo man"

When I graduated from Sacramento State University, "Dan the photo man", the man who ran the photography lab, told me to leave him a few of my business cards before I graduated. He went on to say that people frequently call the photography department looking for low-priced photographers to shoot their weddings, events, portraits, etc.

One day in November, I got a phone call from this girl named Charla. She was looking for a photographer to photograph her fashion show that she had to put together for a school project, and told me that she got my phone number from Dan. Charla didn't have a lot of money, and had to have her fashion show photographed to get credit for her project. So I told her I'd do it! I had never shot a fashion show and was pretty excited. With a lot of assistance from my loving boyfriend, Jeff, we shot our first fashion show! It was my first paid photo lead from "Dan the photo man", and I couldn't be happier with the photos I got and the experience I gained!
