Sacramento Rally With Bernie Sanders | Sacramento CA | May 9, 2016

Regardless of your political views during this very important time of social unrest in America, one man has brought tens of thousands to hear him speak this election year. His message is clear. "A future to believe in." His movement is powerful, raising voter registration in some parts of the state of California by nearly 20%. He bases his campaign on saving the middle class of America. His name is Bernie Sanders, and on May 9, 2016, I had the privilege to listen to his message...

"The American people must make a fundamental decision. Do we continue the 40-year decline of our middle class and the growing gap between the very rich and everyone else, or do we fight for a progressive economic agenda that creates jobs, raises wages, protects the environment and provides health care for all? Are we prepared to take on the enormous economic and political power of the billionaire class, or do we continue to slide into economic and political oligarchy? These are the most important questions of our time, and how we answer them will determine the future of our country." BernieSanders.com

Sacramento Event Photographer | Harlan D Wood Memorial Golf Tournament | Mather Golf Course | September 2013

It was a beautiful day for a golf tournament. It was brisk, but not cold, sunny without a cloud in sight. The breeze felt great to me, but not so great for those golfers...

Planned Solutions has been hosting the "Harlan D Wood Memorial Cancer Charity Golf Tournament" for nearly a decade. Harlan was a beloved partner of the financial planning institution, since the early days of the company. His world was shattered when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which in turn, tragically ended his life.

Roger and Harlan were friends for many years before partnering up to create Planned Solutions, and Harlan's death greatly affected Roger. He knew he wanted to give back to a man who had given him so much.

Every year, Planned Solutions, led by Harlan's business partner, Roger, and Mather Golf Course put together a charity golf tournament with all proceeds going to any cancer society of the player's choice. I was honored to be part of this fun-filled day! It was full of great people, great weather, and a great cause!

If you would like to be part of the tournament next year, please contact Shannon or Katie with Planned Solutions, 916-361-0100
